Catch up...Mexico's Comida

My last meal...not quite mexican but a meat sampler in the airport.

CHURRRRROOOOSSS! As you can tell by my face this chocolate stuffed churro made my day.

My favorite waffle restaurant in queretaro.

arroz con leche, a classic mexican dessert.

A unique dessert that had the consistency of squeaky cheese. It was made out of honey or something...

Some sort of bread pudding at the estancia.

Gnocci at the Estancia.

the classic argentine breakfast, crackers, jam and coffee.

The bus dinner. Most things unidentifiable.
The dictionary defines a foodie as "someone who has an ardent or refined interest in food." In previous decades, words like "epicure" or "gourmet" were used to apply to the same type of person. (According to Slashfood.com).

In my previous blogs, I have been made aware by my family and friends that I focus (sometimes to excess) on what I eat. I would have to say this rings true in my own country as well as when I am abroad. Therefore I will use this blog to focus, almost entirely on my interactions with culture, people and adventures through food. I will also include some photos and recipes for your enjoyment.

Bon appetit. Buen Provecho. Enjoy.
